Here’s another fun & delicious treat your kids can make!

Strawberries are my little chef’s favorite food to cook with and eat.  In celebration of our favorite fruit, here’s a fun little treat that’s perfect for little hands to make all on their own.

Watch the entire video of our Step Stool Chef in Training making these super easy and super yummy Confetti Dipped Strawberries then keep reading for the recipe below:

There’s nothing more beautiful that ripe, bright red strawberries.  In addition to being sweet, juicy and delicious, strawberries are a great source of nutrients such as Vitamin C, fiber and antioxidants.  Even when dipped, strawberries are bonafide superfoods.

Confetti Dipped StrawberriesAlso, here are a few other fun facts:

  1. Strawberries are the only fruit with seeds on the outside.  There are an average of about 200 seeds on each berry.
  2. Despite it’s name, strawberries aren’t technically not berries.  It’s true… technically berries have its seed on the inside of the fruit.
  3. Strawberries are actually members of the rose family.  That’s why they smell so good!

Confetti Dipped StrawberriesThis recipe for Confetti Dipped Strawberries just make it even more fun to eat.  Just to share how easy it to make, our little 3-year old Step Stool Chef-in-training goes at it all by herself.

The ingredients are simple:

10-12 Strawberries

5.3 oz container of Greek yogurt

1 tablespoon of honey

1/3 cup of multicolored sprinkles (or whichever color you like)
